Matthew Dickey

Matthew Callis Dickey, 38, of Brigham City, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2025. Born on November 19, 1986, in Tucson, Arizona, Matt was the beloved son of the late Cheryl Anne Gore and Douglas Callis Dickey.

Matt was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and the kind of laughter that could light up a room. He gave the best hugs and brought warmth and humor to those lucky enough to know him.

He grew up in multiple US states before settling in Brigham City where he graduated from Dale Community High School. Throughout his career, Matt worked in production at Autoliv, Radcam, and installed security systems for Vivint.

Matt was a dog dad and adored his two furry babies, Ryder and Londyn. Matt had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, grilling, and cooking for his family. He also had a passion for video games and quiet nights at home with those he loved most.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Aubrey Dickey, and their two cherished children, Asher Douglas Dickey and Sequoyah Jayne Dickey. Matt also leaves behind his siblings Marilyn (Andrew) Balls, Benjamin Dickey, and Deborah (Ben) Olsen, and many beloved friends.

A memorial service celebrating Matt’s life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Brigham City, Utah, 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City 84302.

Matt will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the laughter he brought and the love he gave so freely.
