Michael John Harden
July 31, 1965 - July 14, 2026,

Michael John Harden passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 60.

Mike was born on July 31, 1965, to Ralph Gerald ("Jerry") Harden Sr. and Karen Harden Cross.

Mike spent much of his youth in Dow City, Iowa, before moving to live with his father in Muscatine, Iowa, and later to Livermore, California, where he graduated from high school.

Over the years, Mike worked a variety of jobs, including positions with the National Park Service in Key West, Florida, and at Zion National Park before beginning a career at the Walmart Distribution Center in Corinne, Utah, where he dedicated 25 years of service.

Mike met the love of his life, Mary Jo Allred—"Jo-Jo," as he affectionately called her—while they both worked at Zion National Park. They eloped to Las Vegas, where they were married on April 11, 1997, in a small white chapel by an Elvis impersonator before making their home in Brigham City, Utah.

Some of Mike's favorite memories were made traveling in their motorhome with Jo-Jo to NASCAR races in Las Vegas.

Michael is survived by his brother, Ralph ("Jerry") Harden Jr. and his wife, Karen; his brother, Jeffery Harden and his wife, Stephanie; his sisters, Renee King-Raslich; Mary Carin and her husband, Gary; Megan Ronk and her husband, Brian; and his mother-in-law, Mary Allred.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Jo Allred; his father, Ralph Gerald ("Jerry") Harden Sr.; his mother, Karen Harden Cross; his stepfather, Bryce Cross; and his father-in-law, Virgil Cliff Allred.

Mike's mother taught him the importance of kindness and compassion, qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
