Michelle Leigh Abe

Michelle Leigh Abe, loving daughter, wife, and mother, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 29, 2013. She was born on November 30, 1971, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Gerald E. and Joan E. Haney Peters.

She was raised in West Point, Utah, and graduated from Clearfield High School.

In 2007 she married her best friend, Steve Abe, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as an insurance billing coordinator for Family Dental Care in Spring Creek, Nevada.

Michelle enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, camping, and being in the outdoors. She especially enjoyed being with the family. She was always trying new things and enjoyed experimenting with entrepreneurship.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Dax (Kelcey) Dabel, Megan Kowalski, and Emma Abe; mother, Joan; and one brother, Chris.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Special thanks to the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital and Ogden Regional Medical Center for their love and care.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at West Point Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West, West Point, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
