Our beloved mother, sister, and Gammy, Michelle Roberts Thompson, was suddenly and unexpectedly called home on October 3, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1953, in Ogden, a daughter of Joseph and Laurine Wilde Roberts. Michelle was raised in North Ogden and graduated from Weber High School in 1972. She was crowned Miss Weber and loved being a member of the Cheer Team. Michelle married Vearl Thompson in 1977 in the Ogden temple and their marriage was blessed with 5 children.
Michelle raised her family in Warren on a family farm until 1995--when the family moved to a ranch in Motley, Minnesota. She always enjoyed being adventurous, mischievous, and fun. She taught her children the important values of hard work, kindness, and cheerfulness in all that she did.
Michelle's greatest passion was her family--especially her children and grandchildren. She had a gift for showing special individual, unique, and unconditional love to each of her Grandchildren. Cooking was her "love language." She took great delight in preparing, cooking, and baking huge meals for anyone and everyone! Michelle was the life of the party, and always loved entertaining and hosting various game nights.
Michelle is survived by her children, Brennan "B.J." (Brittany), Josie (Cortney) Glenn, Jace (Mythanne), Landon (Brittany), and Colton (Kelsee); 15 grandchildren; and sisters Janeen (Morris) Parry and Jan (Marv) Shaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.
