Mickael Brent Dunkley Sr Obituary (1953 - 2018)

Mickael Brent Dunkley Sr. Mickael Brent Dunkley Sr., 64, passed away on March 14, 2018. He was born June 12, 1953 at Hill AFB to Ben D. and Joanne Dodge Dunkley. Mickael graduated from Layton High School and attended Weber State. He served in the US Navy. He married Denise Forsberg on November 19, 1977 in Elko, NV. Mickael enjoyed fishing, shooting, playing the guitar, computers, wood working and his grandkids. His side interests were Hamm Radios (N7EFX), and he started getting into virtual reality before he got sick. He had a full career in civil service at Hill AFB where he had many coworkers and friends, including but not limited to Mike Burton and Sammy Knnack, that he cared for dearly. He is survived by his wife Denise; mother Joanne Dunkley; children Jason M. Dunkley, Tracy Finlay, Michael B. Dunkley Jr and Nathan D. (Chelsea) Dunkley; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly (Bers), Lane, Mikey, Jordyn, Ashton, Kayden, Michael, and Tabby; his brother Loren B. Dunkley; sister Teri L. Zigler.; and one great grandson. He is preceded in death by father, grandparents, aunts, uncles, in-laws DuWayne and Doris Forsberg and many cousins. He will be greatly missed by his kids, grandkids and especially his wife. Special thanks to his nurse Sandy and the staff of Huntsman Cancer. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 11am to 1 pm at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. followed by graveside service at 1:30 pm at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. where military honors will be accorded.
