Mikell Irene Morris Obituary (1987 - 2002)

Mikell Irene Morris Mikell Irene Morris, one of our Heavenly Father's most special spirits, was called home on September 13, 2002 after a long and courageous battle with a rare childhood cancer. Released from her earthly bonds, she can again tumble with the wind, laugh at the moon, and chase tirelessly after the stars. Mikell was born on September 15, 1987 in North Ogden, Utah, the daughter and little sister of the Robert and Susan Morris Family. Family and friends is where she found happiness and a purpose for life. Her circle of friends was large yet remained open to everyone. Her compassion for others was always expressed in her desire to "help people feel great inside." She truly made friends for life. A champion gymnast and aspiring cheerleader, she was quite the performing star. She loved swimming, water-skiing, four-wheeling, winning at Nintendo, and of course the endless days and nights scrap booking. Her thirst for knowledge could never be quenched, which made her love for school that much more important. There she could be with friends, have fun, and learn about the world and life in it. She was a valiant and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with values representative of a child of God. Mikell is survived by her parents Robert and Susan Morris; sisters and brothers Summer (David) Willis, Keeley (Dustin) Olson, T.J. (serving in the Guatemala South mission), and Zach; grandparents Jay and Anna Whitehead. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Wallace and Irene Morris and uncle Douglas Morris.
