BRIGHAM CITY - Nellie Naomi Newman Turk. 92 passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at her home. Naomi was born on February 1, 1919 in Vancouver, Washington.
Married Robert Turk in 1939, they were later divorced.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Naomi was heart broken when she had to give up her dog Emmy. She would carry treats around in her wheelchair for all the dogs that she would meet.
Surviving are her children: Jennie and Robert. Preceded in death by her sons: William and Harold. Special thanks to Marjorie Mills, and CNS Hospice for all their loving care.
She was a kind loving sweet friend to all, she was willing to help anyone in need. She loved all animals especially Emmy, Dolly, Chichi, Fat Cat and Sassy.
Thank you my sweet friend for everything it was a pleasure to know you help and love you, Sharon.
Memorial Fireside Services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 a lucheon will being at 5:30 p.m. with memorial services to follow at the Brigham City 15th Ward, 203 West 200 North.
