Neomie Elizabeth Martinez Obituary (1925 - 2005)

NEOMIE E. MARTINEZ ROY - Neomie E. Salazar Martinez, 80, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on March 5, 2005. She was born March 3, 1925 in Dulce, New Mexico to Augustine and Dulcinea Salazar. She then married her sweetheart and very loving husband, Johnney Martinez, November 10, 1941 for 63 years. She loved gardening, flowers, and loved the great outdoors and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so very much. She is survived by her husband, Johnney Martinez; four children, Eugene Martinez, Vivian (Tito) Martinez, Jerry (Donna) Martinez, Bob (Sheila) Martinez; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; her two loving sisters, Edalia Salazar and Sara Salazar and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Dulcinea Salazar, one brother, Flavio Salazar, two sisters, Ruby Salazar and Levinia Martinez and her very loving son Johnney Jr. who she took care of for 51 years. She will always be a very loving and caring wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and mom. We love and miss her so very, very much.
