N. Lynn Phillips Obituary (1943 - 2003)

N. Lynn Phillips BRAWLEY, CA - Lynn Phillips, age 60, died on Monday, November 24, 2003 at his home in Brawley, California of cancer. He was born March 24, 1943 in Ogden, son of Newel Melvin and LaVaun Peterson Phillips. He graduated from Ben Lomond High in 1961. He also graduated from Weber State College getting his bachelors degree, he also got a masters degree. He was a member of the LDS church, and served a mission to the French East mission. He taught many years at Barbara Worth Junior High where he thoroughly enjoyed working with his students. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving father, grandfather and uncle and will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Ann Phillips. Surviving are his son, Mondher Seghaier of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren of Las Vegas, NV; his brother, Blaine Phillips of Ogden; sister, Jean (Scot) Jenkins of Richland, WA.
