Nicolas Ernesto Soto (1950 – 2026)

Nicolas Ernesto Soto, 75, of Roy, UT, passed away peacefully at his home on April 27, 2026, with his beloved chihuahua, Topper, at his side. Nick was born in Ogden, UT to Domingo and Beatrice Soto on September 6, 1950. Nick graduated from Davis High School in 1969.

He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1969 through 1973 and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Nick retired from Hill Air Force Base.

He was preceded in death by his father, Domingo Soto, mother, Beatrice Soto (Gardaya) and sister, Gloria McKean.

He is survived by sisters, Rita Werenskjold and Cecilia Malone; brother Mario Soto; daughter, Angela Soto; sons Antonio Soto and Michael Soto; former spouse and close friend, Darlene Soto and her daughters he raised, Jennifer Martinez and Amy Argyle; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Services to honor Nick will be held at the St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on May 19, 2026, located at 4050 S 3900 W St., West Haven, UT 84401.

Following the church service, there will be a graveside service with military honors at the Clinton City Cemetery, located at 750 W 800 N, Clinton, UT 84015.
