Noel Kelvin Hess Obituary (1930 - 2007)

Noel Kelvin Hess SOUTH OGDEN - Noel Kelvin Hess died August 31, 2007 at his home. He was born January 20, 1930 to Edward Hunter and Ethel Elizabeth Parker Hess. Dad was reared and educated in Weber County, graduating in 1949 from Ogden High School. On April 4, 1956 he married Arlene Stokes in the Logan Temple. From that union came three kids; Noel, Keith and Marie. He served in the Navy form May 1947 to January 1955 as a fireman. He worked for DDO as a warehouseman for 39 years. After retirement he worked for Farr's Ice Cream. He was a member of the LDS Church; he served as a clerk in the bishoprics, secretary, Young Men's presidency and was a member of the church choir. He also worked 12 years with the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife Arlene Stokes Hess; one son Keith John (Karen) Hess; one daughter Marie Hess; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Garth, Theron, Reulle, Dwight; sister Marion Whittington and son Noel Edward Hess. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the So.
