NOLA ORME NELSON

WILLARD -Nola Orme Nelson, 81 passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2001 at the Brigham City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 3, 1920 a daughter of Joseph Abslom and Lucy Yates Orme. Nola married Roy L. Nelson September 28, 1938. He died on October 28, 1986. Nola and Roy lived in the home they built in Willard and worked together taking care of their peach orchard their entire married life.

Nola went to school in Brigham City and attended Box Elder High School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had taught primary in the Willard Ward. Nola loved her children, grandchildren and close friends. She enjoyed fishing at Willard Bay and reading many books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, one brother Joseph Dale Orme and one sister, Verlie Kianka. Surviving are her sons, Ronald R. Nelson of Willard and Robert Dale Nelson of Hallandale, Florida, 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary, 205 South First East, Brigham City. Family and friends may call at the mortuary preceding the services on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
