Noma Ogden Edgley
July 16, 1910 --- February 13, 2004

OGDEN - Noma Ogden Edgley, an extraordinary woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her passed gently from this life to a better one on February 13th following a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, Stanley Edgley, her two adoring children, Patricia Doolittle and Richard Edgley, their spouses (Austin and Lynnette), seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Noma was a loving woman who treated everyone as if they were family. She adored children, cooking, gardening and fishing. Her pies, AC.clairs, and trout dinners were renowned. Noma, with her parents (Angelina and William) and four older sisters, moved to Ogden from Auburn, CA in 1916. She was very devoted to her family and they remained close throughout the years. Noma was blessed with an unselfish disposition and spent her life caring for others. She touched so many lives with her generosity and kindness they cannot all be mentioned here. She will be missed everyday and we will always remember her beautiful smile and loving heart. It is with great sadness we say goodbye.

The family extends its gratitude and thanks to the staff of Mt. Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care and support they provided. If preferred, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Noma's name to the Mt. Ogden Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, 375 East 5350 South, Washington Terrace, UT, 84405, or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
