BRIGHAM CITY - Nona Scothern Lewis, 77 passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Brigham City Hospital.
Nona was born on September 22, 1936 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Ruby Young and Joseph Scothern.
She attended Bear River Elementary, Box Elder Jr. High and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Nona married Harry Lund Taylor on July 16, 1954 in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as a Visiting Teacher Supervisor and Church Liberian.
Nona enjoyed doing puzzles and playing board games and family gatherings.
Surviving are her children: Jaleen Taylor, Brigham City; Larry Taylor, Layton; and granddaughter Rhylie Taylor. Also siblings: Doyle Scothern, Duane Scothern, Arleta Nelson, Lloyd Scothern and Eldon Scothern.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a stillborn son.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bear River City Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 2015 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
