Nora D. Larsen 86 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her Loving Family. Nora was born August 9th, 1928 to Devina Miller and William Orien Simpson. Nora's mother was in failing health and passed away shortly after her birth resulting in Nora and her 3 siblings being separated among relatives. Nora was raised from infancy by her Aunt and Uncle Mary Miller and Oriel Burton. There she was raised with their daughter Alta, whom she always considered her sister.
Nora attended Ogden High School, worked at Swifts where she met and fell in love with her sweetheart of 62 years. Nora was married and sealed to Neil Larsen in the Logan Temple on July 30, 1952 . Together they had 2 children, 8 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Nora enjoyed spending time at home as a wife and mother and was an outstanding homemaker. Nora loved children and she worked in the primary and cub scouts. She volunteered over 15 years and 10, 000 hours in the McKay Dee day care where the children loved her.

She is survived by her husband Neil H. Larsen of North Ogden, Son Brent Larsen (Bonalee) Pleasant View and daughter Michelle Sexton (Wayne) Mantua.

Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden on Thurs June 26th at 11:00. Friends may visit the viewing with family from 6-8 pm, Wed June 25 and 9:40-10:40 on Thurs June 26th .Bishop Ropelato will officiate the service. Interment will be at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park 4500 S. Washington Blvd.
