Norma Jean Nighswonger

December 4, 1923- June 13th, 2016

Surrounded by her family, Norma Jean Nighswonger gained her angel wings on Monday, June 13th 2016 in Brigham City Utah.

Mom was born December 4th, 1923 in Tulare California to Warren M. Brown and Louie Light-Brown.

Our mother was the most kind and loving person you'd ever meet. She loved to play hand and foot with her children, grand and great grand children, but never enjoyed losing! Unlimited love for going to the casinos, bird watching and beautiful flowers.

Norma is survived by her sister Colleen Post from Porterville CA, her children Marian Hartman (NV), Nancy Lewis-Jones (CA), Bob Lewis (AK), David Lewis (CA), Lee Lewis (MT), Cheryl Stone, Kathy Kennington, Cindy Glisson (UT). 37 Grand Children, 97 Great Grand Children, 18 Great, Great Grand Children.

Preceded in death by husband Robert "Spike" Nighswonger, Son Ron Lewis, Daughters Janice Eileen Lewis and Bobby Jean Lewis.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tulare Public Cemetery, 900 E Kern Ave.
Viewings will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 at the Myers Funeral Services & Crematory, 248 E Street, Porterville, CA.
