Norman Holden
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Norman Holden, passed away on December 2, 2016. He was born on October 5, 1941 in Ogden, Utah to John and Ruby Allred Holden. Norman married his sweetheart, Karen Greenwell, on June 2, 1961 in Ogden, Utah.
He was a graduate of Ogden High School and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Norm enjoyed woodworking, camping, hunting, family outings and parties.
He enjoyed his winter home in Yuma and all the friends which became family.
He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the fullest.
Norm will be missed dearly by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; children, Julie (Russell) Rasmussen, Lance (Jill) Holden and Sherrie (Dave) Maynard; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Covey and Carolyn Tallman.
Special thanks to Dr. Justin Mansfield, Dr. Gray and a very special thanks to A Step Forward Hospice for the care and love they gave to Norman.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison. A gathering will be held prior to services from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
