O. DEE LUND

BRIGHAM CITY - Orville Dee (O. Dee) Lund , returned to his Heavenly Father on July 17, 2001, after a short illness. He was born March 16, 1920 in Brigham City, Utah, to Orville Dee and Mildred Boden Lund, and was the only brother to four sisters.

He enlisted in the Army during World War II, where he met his future wife and lifelong companion, Relda Jensen, whom he affectionately called "Katie". They were married at Langley Field, Virginia on February 9, 1946, and sealed for time and eternity in the Logan temple on August 9, 1946. His "Katie" passed away in August 2000 and he looked forward to being with her again.

He practiced law in Brigham City, Utah, for 55 years, retiring in January 2000. During that time, he served as Box Elder County Attorney for approximately 30 of those years. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Utah for 9 years, and was a member of the Kiwanis Club, where he gave many years of service to the community.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and extended family. Working in his yard and garden brought him great satisfaction. Through the years, he found pleasure in hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler and other outdoor activities.

The family thanks his special friends in the "Dinner Group" and "Study Group", whom he enjoyed spending time with. A special thanks, also to his lifelong friend and physician, Dr. Dean Bunderson.
