Otis Walton Obituary (1920 - 2002)

Otis Walton OGDEN - Otis Walton, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at his home. He was born April 3, 1920 in Milam County, Texas to Louis Livingston and Addie Walton, the youngest of eight children. He married Norvelle Willis on May 22, 1955 in Spokane. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He sang in church choirs for 57 years. He was a long standing member of the Church Trustee Board. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge Mt. Ogden #20; Ben Lomond Consistory #94; and he served on the Ogden City Planning Commission for nine years. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base for 39 years and traveled extensively during his civil service career. Surviving are his wife, Norvelle W. Walton of Ogden; one son, Otis Walton, Jr., San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, Lorenzo Livingston of Palmdale, Calif. 'I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.'
