Parley Burt Fearn Obituary (1931 - 2013)

Parley Burt Fearn Mar.15, 1931-Feb.5, 2013 Parley Burt Fearn went to the Lord February 5, 2013 in Northridge, California. He had eight children five of whom were with him to say good-bye and send him off into heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents: John Harvey Fearn and Thelma Burt Fearn, his brother, John Harvey Fearn Jr. and his sister, Beverley McKnight. Parley is survived by his children: Deborah, Lynda, Parla, Patricia, Sheila, Erica, Leif and Daven; as well as eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He helped to instill sound values and great work ethics in his family. Parley had high ideals and always accomplished what he set out to do. It was a great example to set for his children. Parley was a great participant with his family and he was a good provider always. A cowboy and outdoorsman at heart, he bought his children horses and loved camping with his family. Parley loved thinking about what he could do to improve the home and the yard while incorporating his kids in projects so that he could teach them how to be self-sufficient. Parley will be remembered by many family and friends of the lives he touched. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. with a gathering to follow at The City Club, one of Parley's favorite places. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park on Tuesday, Feb. 19th.
