Patricia Garr recording. Patricia Garr was born in Ogden Utah on March 22, 1933 at the Dee Memorial Hospital to Benjamin H. and Elnora Lund Garr. She passed away on April 2, 2017. She attended Mound Fort Elementary School, Lewis Junior High School and graduated from Ogden High School May 27, 1951. She married Bobby Lee Winn on August 4, 1951; they later divorced. Three children were born of this marriage, Robert Lee, Jodie Ann, and Christine. Patricia was employed by Garr Insurance Agency and later went to work at the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base. She started there as a clerk typist, was promoted to a Division Secretary before becoming an Administrative Assistant. She then became a Production Manager for the RF-4C and F-4G Phantom Aircraft. After completing over 2, 000 hours of training for Production, Logistics, and Program Management she received Certification to manage aircraft programs. She was a recipient of many awards, the most prestigious being selected as the Air Force Logistics Command Outstanding Production Manager of the Year, in 1987. She was then assigned to the F-16 System Management Division as the Program Manager for the F-16 Radar programs. She retired on March 1, 1994 after 28 A 1/2 years with the Air Force. She enjoyed gardening, golfing and photography. Patricia is survived by one son and two daughters, Robert L. Winn (Leesa) of Roy, Jodie Robinson of Morgan and Christine Winn of Ogden; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers and 1 sister. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Primary Children's Medical Center, Animal Humane Society or the Animal Adoption 4-Paws. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. prior to Graveside Services at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, So.
