Ogden - We lost a kind and gentle spirit when Pat passed away on Tuesday, Spetember 16th after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born September 20, 1937 the first child of Wayne A. and DeOn Nebeker Marriott. She was lifelong resident of Utah, living in Ogden and Clearfield. She married Fred W. Malan on September 19, 1953 in Malad, Idaho. They were later divorced but reunited for the past 10 years. She was a manager at Village Inn Restaurant and hostess at Utah Noodle.

Mom accepted and loved everyone just the way God Made them. She was always willing to sacrifice for others. She was happiest spending time with her family especially having all her grandkids for sleepovers at "Grandma Bears".

She is survived by her dad, husband and children, Randy (Sherrie) Malan, Roy; Fred (Vickie) Malan, Mesa, Arizona; Laurie Malan Bigler, Ogden; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived two sisters, Billie Jeanne (Bill) Waterman, Midland, Michigan; Sharon (Charlie) Neeley, Indianapolis, Ind. And a brother, Wayne Marriott, Jr. Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her mother, sister, Betty MacDonald, grandchild, Nikki and a great-grandchild, Hope.

Mom you will be terribly missed but we will get by on our memories and knowing you are with
God.
