Patricia June Perry Obituary (1936 - 2003)

Patricia June Brown Perry On December 4, 2003 the Lord called home our beloved mother. A daughter of Phyllis and Cecil Brown, Patricia "Pat" Perry was born June 16, 1936 in McIntosh, South Dakota. She was raised in Ogden, Utah. On August 13, 1955 she married Gerald Perry. Together they brought into this world two sons and one daughter. She cherished her family and considered each member a blessing from above. Her home was filled with an abundance of love and laughter. Mom enjoyed learning and was interested in just about everything. She sought to instill her passion for knowledge in those about her. Books, music, art and an assortment of pets were never in short supply. She worked in food service for brief periods of time, but truly found her niche when she opened a folk art shop and dabbled in the antique business. Mom was a published writer. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, camping, hiking and bowling, but her greatest legacy was her tremendous reverence for the Lord and this spilled over into all she did. Mother was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, her parents and one sister, Cecilia Feenstra. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Don) Criswell; sons, Daniel (Shirley) Perry, David (Alice) Perry; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Feenstra and a brother, James (Karen) Brown.
