MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE - Paul passed away on October 3, 2011, after bravely battling Pulmonary Fibrosis for five years. He was born on March 14, 1932 in his grandmother's home in West Weber, to Edward Barrow and Maude Hipwell Barrow Conger. He was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1951. He served in the Korean War. He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Webb on March 26, 1954. They lived in Harrisville, Layton and Marriott-Slaterville. They had 57 years together.

Paul was a member of the Marriott-Slater 1st Ward. He was employed by Swift & Co. and retired as a general contractor. Paul loved horses and headed the Jr. Posse in Harrisville for 10 years. He taught his children and neighbors to water ski.

He was a big part of his grandchildren's lives, enjoying time with them at Bear Lake and Wolf Lodge. Paul and Barbara spent over 20 winters in Lake Havassu where they made many friends and kept in contact with them.

Paul loved his family dearly and was a "great-grandpa". He was generous and giving. He enjoyed trips to Wendover, playing cards, going to horse races, golfing and all sports. Paul had many friends and like Will Rogers, "he never met a man he didn't like."
