NORTH OGDEN - Our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Paul Hyrum Linsley, returned home with honor as the result of an electrical accident at his home.

Paul was born April 12, 1961 in Las Vegas, NV to Owen F. and Jeanette Whittaker Linsley. He married his eternal companion Cindy Green, December 11, 1981 in the Ogden LDS Temple. Their marriage was blessed with five beautiful children. Paul's wife and children gave him meaning, purpose and inspiration in everything he accomplished.

He was an active member of the No. Ogden 16th Ward, where he was currently serving as a Young Men's Advisor. He also served in the Elders Quorum, as a Primary Teacher, Young Men's Presidency and as a Stake Emergency Preparedness Radio Coordinator. Paul enjoyed his hobby and his many associations as a ham radio operator. Paul's strong beliefs in his Savior and his testimony sustained him through the many challenges he faced in life.

Paul owned and operated his own roofing company that he started in 1986. He was a hard worker. Paul enjoyed teaching his children the value of hard work by working alongside them and by his example of good values. Paul had a tender heart, he was very generous, compassionate and giving. He was always willing to extend a helping hand to lift a burden from someone else's shoulders and share his time and means. He always went the extra mile to be sure that people were satisfied with his work.

Paul loved to laugh. He shared his happy heart and personality with all his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Cindy; four sons and one daughter, Kevin, Scott (currently serving an LDS mission in the Micronesia Guam mission), Tanner, Carson and Addie; parents, Owen and Jeanette Linsley, No. Ogden; grandmother, Helen Schmidt; three brothers and one sister, Gaynard (Jill) Linsley, No. Ogden, Laura (Gary) Josephson, Lehi, Kent (Sally) Linsley, No. Ogden, David (Diane) Linsley, Pleasant View.

Paul was loved and appreciated by his mother and father-in-law, Bill and Pat Green and their family.
