Paul Barry Mowrey

BRIGHAM CITY - Paul Barry Mowrey died at his home February 28, 2008.
He was born on October 10, 1945 in Roosevelt, Utah to Eleanor and Alvin B. Mowrey. As a young man, he left Utah to explore the world ending up in Trinidad. He continued his travels by joining the US Navy. He lived in Alaska and then in California for many years. There he met and married Sandy Lawton. They moved to Utah in 1981. They divorced in 1995, but remained close friends until his death.
Paul worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Co. as a Quality Engineer in both Santa Cruz, CA and at Morton Thiokol in Utah until his retirement in 2004. Also Paul was very proud of his MENSA membership and his MBA from University of Utah.
Paul is survived by two brothers; Bill of California, Tom of Utah and three sisters; Jerri of Arizona, Eula and Phyllis both of Utah. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale and three sisters; Raema, Nina and Audrey.
Per Paul's wishes, there will be no Funeral Services. Cremation will be under the direction of Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
A private memorial was held by family and friends.
