Roy-Pauline Hansen Schiffman, loving matriarch of our family, passed away January 6, 2017. She was born November 30, 1929, in Smithfield, Utah, to Edger LeRoy and Elizabeth Maughan Painter Hansen.

Pauline married Lloyd Barrett Schiffman on May 10, 1947. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple, May 13, 1955. They spent 70 beautiful years together as best friends.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in numerous callings. She and Lloyd faithfully attended the temple every Tuesday morning with their friends. Pauline worked at Commercial Security Bank, retiring as an Assistant Vice President of loans.

Pauline and Lloyd enjoyed many years in Yuma, Arizona, belonging to a hiking club. They made many lifetime friends.

She was a kind, gentle, sweet lady, and her compassionate service was unmeasurable. Many benefitted from her quiet, selfless gifts, where she never wanted the attention or recognition.

Pauline is survived by her husband Lloyd, and children, Richard and Marilyn Schiffman, Robert Schiffman, Helen and Kevin DeMille, Lance and Vera Schiffman, 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and her sister Marilyn Hansen Benavides.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Thea Hansen Evans and Betty Hansen.

Mom was always a loving example of a Daughter of God; she was the heart of our family. She will be greatly missed; until we meet again.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Municipal Park Ward, 5900 South 2200 West Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah, and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church

Interment, Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah.
