Pearline Steward Blakeley Obituary (1922 - 2002)

Pearline Steward Blakeley OGDEN - Pearline S. Blakeley passed away Friday, April 19, 2002 at Mt. Ogden Nursing Home. She was born in Stamps, Arkansas to Norman and Della Henderson Steward. She married David Blakeley on Nov 18, 1951 in Salt Lake City, he preceded her in death on Apr 29, 1980. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, where she served as pastor's aide and a missionary. Surviving are four daughters, Jerry Johnson, Ogden; Lillie Holman, Lexington Park, MD; Helen (Adam) Smith, Sierra Vista, AZ; Betty (David) Smauldon, Washington Terrace; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Rufus Steward, Buckner, AR; a special niece and nephew, L.D. Steward, Ogden; and Earline Bush, Ft. Washington, MD. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandson, Malachi Weatherspoon; three brothers, Minden, O.B., L.J.; and one sister, Lonnie Collier.
