Penny Lee Higley McNeely

Penny Lee Higley McNeely returned home to her Heavenly Father on September 27, 2007. She slipped away peacefully while sleeping in her home in Shelley, Idaho.

Penny was born in Ogden, Utah on Feb. 12, 1978. She is the oldest daughter of Randy and Debbie Higley. She is preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Wayment Higley. A loving mother she leaves behind two beautiful children, Brittany and Seth McNeely; her loving father and step mother, Randy and Ramona Higley; four siblings who miss her dearly, Jennifer (Chris) Barr, Zandra Higley, Brodie Higley, and BreAnna Higley; and a loving friend Casey Thompson.

Raised in Layton, Utah, Penny moved with her family to Weston, Idaho when she was in High School. She attended Westside High and Married Jeremy McNeely of Preston, Idaho in January of 1997. She and Jeremy lived with their children in Ririe, Idaho, until last year when she moved to Shelley.

She was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She loved to live and lived to love. She found joy in the little things in life. Penny's death will be mourned by all who knew her. We will all miss her.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Family and friends may gather Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah.
