Preston Ray Prieto Obituary (1987 - 2007)

Preston Ray Prieto OGDEN - Preston Ray Prieto, 19, passed away peacefully August 9, 2007 in Ogden. He was born Sept. 8, 1987 in Ogden, the son of Cynthia Marie Esquierdo and Fred Blas Prieto. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Preston attended the Utah School for the Blind. He enjoyed music, having the television on, enjoyed being around people especially his family and grandmother; he liked colorful lights and loved ice cream. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Wee Care, and the teachers at the Utah School for the Blind for their loving care of Preston over the years. He is survived by his parents Cynthia Marie Esquierdo (Mike Duran) and Fred Blas Prieto; grandparents Carmen and Edward Fraga, Robert and Delfina Prieto; siblings Freddie Prieto Jr. (Amber), Derek Prieto, Chasity Prieto (Oscar); two nephews Xavier Prieto and Isaac Contreras. He was preceded in death by his uncle Roy Alonzo and grandfather, Johnny Esquierdo. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. with Father Rock officiating. Friends may call at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. prior from 9 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to help pay for services.
