Quentin Orell Unsworth Ii Obituary (1954 - 2004)

QUENTIN ORELL UNSWORTH II CLINTON - On Tuesday, August 17, 2004 our beloved husband, father, son and brother Quentin Orell Unsworth II returned peacefully home to his Heavenly Father. He was born May 14, 1954 in Ogden, Utah the first son of Quentin Orell and Lorraine Jenson Unsworth. He married the love of his life VerLean Piepkorn on June 7, 1980 and they were sealed for time and eternity October 31, 1981 in the Ogden LDS Temple. He faithfully served in the Charlotte, North Carolina mission. His son Ryan followed in his footsteps by serving in the same mission. Quent's first priority and greatest love was for his family. His children were the light of his life and he made every day special for each of them. He loved to take his family boating, hiking, camping and bowling. He was famous for his impromptu baseball games and wanted the entire family to join in. He was willing to do all the work and loved seeing his children having fun and was always there to support them. His kindness and generosity were felt by all who knew him. His Christ-like spirit drew all little children to him and he was greatly loved by his many nieces and nephews. His favorite church calling was serving in the nursery in Primary. He was a great teacher and taught his children to love and respect their mother and the value of hard work. He loved to work on Grandpa Johnston and his dad's farm and loved to ride horses with his family and would have been a full-time farmer if he could, instead he worked for the US Post Office where he was known as "Manley". Quent taught us how to love each other beyond our understanding. He was the peacemaker of our family and we all will strive to become more like he wanted us to be. 'Quent we all love you'- there is a great void which we will fill with all our wonderful memories of you. You will be with us always. Surviving are his loving wife VerLean, four children: Quentin Ryan (Erin), Roy; Heather, William Cole and Holli all of Clinton; He is also survived by his parents Quentin and Lorraine Unsworth, Malad, ID; five sisters and brothers, Karma (Ed) Dornfeld, Littleton, CO; Linda (Brent) Aguirre, Sunset; Pat (John) Kuczma, Clinton; Rodney (Genia) Unsworth, Salem, UT; and Sidney Unsworth, Ogden. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law Bill and Fay Gillman of Ogden and his special sister and brother-in-law Rodney and Valerie Neville, Clearfield.
