Rafael Reyes Jr. Obituary (1951 - 2021)

Rafael Reyes Jr. 70, passed away December 13, 2021 in Ogden, Utah. He was born in Abernathy, Texas on September 26, 1951 to Rafael Reyes and Petra Ortiz. He has been married to Rebecca Reyes for 46 years. Rafael loved the Dallas Cowboys, listening to Tejano Music, playing Bingo and Loteria, doing puzzles and loved cooking on the grill. Also, he loved teaching his grandsons his recipes and his granddaughters how to fix cars. He is survived by his wife Rebecca, children; Donald, Isabel (Jose), Tweety, Rafael III, Lydia and Amee (Moises). His grandchildren were his pride & joy; Enrique (Tamika), Victor (Dessi), Cachez (Cedez), Alyssa (Clemen), Blanca (Michael), Anna, Noel, Nala, Vanessa, Aleecea, Melina, Gloria, Neena, Edgar, Michael, Nika, Isaiah, and 12 great-grandchildren. Also, his siblings Rosa, Jose, Juan, Federico, Carlos, Ernesto, Graciela, Armando and Rojelio. He is preceded in death by his son Noel, granddaughter Monika, parents, siblings; Ismael, Benito and Felipe. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to help the family with funeral expenses. Funeral services will be Monday, December 20, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Viewings Sunday, December 19, 2021, 5-7 p.m. and prior to services 10-11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
