RaLane Spaulding Obituary (1949 - 2023)

RaLane Fowers Spaulding 74 of Hooper, Utah passed peacefully in her home; surrounded by loved ones, Sunday, July 30, 2023. Due to a recent diagnosis of ALS. Born in Ogden, Utah and raised in Hooper, RaLane graduated from Roy High School in 1967 and furthered her education with an accounting degree from Stevens-Henager College class of 1969. She then married her long-time friend and sweetheart Dale Lloyd Spaulding on August 12, 1971, and began the 51-year adventure of raising a family. She retired from Citi Bank customer service accounts in 2015. She may not have moved from Hooper, but she put her passport to good use, traveling to visit her children across the globe and various locations. She had many crafting hobbies to include, crochet, needlework, and sewing. Her true passion was caring for anyone that came to her door. Always a gracious host, she never let you leave without a full belly or a good laugh with her never-ending charm and wit. She was a member of the Hooper Women's Club, as well as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints, in which she served in many callings and achieved many recognitions for her good works and good deeds. She would tell you her greatest achievement are her children. She is proceeded in death by her father and mother Ralph and Elaine Fowers. Her father and mother-in-law Lloyd and Julia Spaulding. Her grandsons, Cadence Spaulding, and Tanner Wolfe, as well as her son-in-law John McGahee. She is survived by her Husband Dale Spaulding, and two sisters Kathy Taylor and Diane Crawford. She is also survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Tana and Melvin Wolfe, Alan and DeeDe Spaulding, Jeffrey Spaulding, and Janalyn and Ryan Todd. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, Shauna Wolfe, Joshua Wolfe, Billy and Courtney Brockbrader, Braden Brockbrader, Miranda Wolfe, Dawn Spaulding, Jocelyn Spaulding, Corbin McGahee, JayDee Spaulding, Alex Spaulding, Jacob Todd. as well as one great-grandchild, Oliver Brockbrader. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A public viewing will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary in Roy, UT. A viewing will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:15 AM prior to services at 10:30 AM held at the Hooper 3rd Ward 5601 S. 6700 W. Hooper, UT. 84315.
