Ralph "Gary" Faulkner Obituary (1959 - 2013)

Ralph Gary Faulkner Gary passed away at his home on June 8, 2013 after a battle with cancer. He was born on April 28, 1959 to Dennis and Yvonne Faulkner (Bonnie). He graduated from Roy High School. Gary is a member of the LDS Church. He also dedicated a big part of his life to weight lifting and won many awards. His home and yard always looked perfect that is something he learned from his father, to be a perfectionist. His mother taught him to always be a caring and forgiving person which he was. At the age of 11 he went to work for Cedar Crest Farms for the Hansen Family with his good friend Craig Hansen until age 18. He then went to work for Max Hancock learning to lay brick and later Shaw Naptech for 32 years. He is survived by his wife Lisa Faulkner, Gary has three beautiful children, Clint Eccles, Nathan and Christina Faulkner, two step-children, Savanah and Sarah Davis, father-in-law, Val Anderson, brother, Mark Faulkner (Nancy), sister, Janette Kogianes (George), best friend, Craig Hansen, many friends from Shaw Naptec. Special Uncle Corky Faulkner (Char), two nieces, Mandi Faulkner (Will), Hollie Ashton (West), two nephews, Tyler Jensen, Zachery Faulkner (Rachel). He is preceded in death by his grandparents and a special grandmother, Mildred Clark. Special thanks to Dr. Branden Wentil and Dr. Grey, Justin and Tammy from Alpine Hospice for all the love and care they gave Gary and our family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
