Mount Pleasant - Rebecca Lee Dorton died April 27, 2012 from injuries due to a car accident. She was born November, 28, 1975 in Ogden, Utah to Arlin H. and Sheila Ann Bonds Morrell. Becky lived in Ogden, Mount Pleasant, Cedar City, Redmond, WA, Sacramento, CA and Belleview, WA. She attended Cedar City Elementary and Middle School, graduated from Cedar City High School; received an associate's degree from Belleview Community College and studied Interior Design at Salt Lake Community College. She married Rick Gardner; later divorced and later married and divorced Scott Dorton.

Becky did community service work with AA and Alanon members and humanitarian work in Mexico after a hurricane. She loved to ride her classic Harley Roadster, do interior design, crafts, and refurbish furniture. She was amazing at writing poems and stories. She loved to create and design her own greeting cards. Becky also enjoyed music, archery, camping and fishing.

Becky is survived by her son, Chance; mother, Sheila; siblings, Steve Morrell, Stan (Connie) Morrell, Bill (Carolyn) Morrell, Walt (Patty) Morrell, Paul (Janna) Morrell, Phil Morrell, Jon Morrell, Joseph (Laurie) Morrell, Shaun (Angela) Morrell, Katherine (Joey) Craighead, Thomas Morrell, Jonathon Morrell, Brent Warren, Josh Warren and many other step-siblings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arlin; all her grandparents and her brother, Richard Morrell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd where the family will greet friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment will be at the Ogden City Cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to all those who stopped at the accident to help Becky and Chance.
