Reed Winfield Campbell Obituary (1924 - 2003)

Reed Winfield Campbell NORTH OGDEN - Reed Winfield Campbell, 79, passed away September 7, 2003. He was born June 20, 1924 in North Ogden, the son of Clyde Strong and Mable Warren Campbell. On May 25, 1945 he married Vola Wyatt in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed as a Communications Technician for the U.S. Forest Service. He was a member of the L.D.S. North Ogden 21st Ward. He was a Scout Master, and held various scouting and young men's positions over many years. He was a member of the Bishopric, a member of the High Council, stake mission, full time mission to the Philippines, a service mission to the D.I. and was a member and President of the Amateur Radio Club. He is survived by his wife, Vola Campbell; two sons and two daughters, Scott (Pam) Campbell of North Ogden, Chris (Yvonne) Campbell, North Ogden, Carol Lynn) Satterthwaite, North Ogden and Kayleen Curtis, Logan. He is also survived by one sister, Mildred (Earl) Welch, Arizona; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jay.
