Renate Johanna Worf White Degn OGDEN - Renate Johanna Worf White Degn, 64, of So. Ogden died April 19, 2007. She was born September 27, 1942 in Mainz, Germany to Josef Antonius Worf and Elisabeth Junker. She married Barry J. White in Mainz, Germany in 1962, they later divorced. She married David Wallace Degn December 29, 1972 in Salt Lake City. Renate was a member of the LDS South Ogden 3rd Ward. A loving wife and mother, Renate enjoyed cooking, knitting, ceramics and the outdoors. She loved her grandchildren and will be remembered by all for her infectious smile. She is survived by her husband David; children Diana (Gust) Quaranto, Cape Cod, MA, Nichole (John) Slapper, Phelon, CA, Heidi (Ed) Hanley, Fallon, NV, Eric (Sarah) Degn, Chapin, SC, Rachel Degn, So. Ogden; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Herbert Worf and sister Ingrid Ebrahami of Germany; also an aunt Hilde Junker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Helga. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gray and staff at Utah Oncology as well as the fine nurses at Ogden Regional Hospital.
