Ogden - ReneAC. Hansen Frandsen, 72, died Monday, December 31, 2001 at the Mckay-Dee Hospital.

She was born on May 2, 1929 to Harvey J. Hansen and Marie Watson Hansen in Spring City, Utah. She graduated from Ogden High School.

She married Sherman M. Frandsen on June 15, 1949. He passed away on October 28, 1976.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Weber County Hospital. She worked at Mount Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she was honored for her outstanding service in the Senior Companion Program. She loved the patients and staff with whom she worked. She worked at MOWEDA Youth Home for 16 years. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She loved to plant flowers and garden. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, dancing and watching her grandchildren in any sporting event or dance and singing program. She also enjoyed a good joke.

Surviving are a special companion, Alex Salas, her children, Gordon (Susan) Frandsen, Steve (Sue) Frandsen, Vivian (Bob) Urbick, her grandchildren, Amy, Angie, Chris, Brandon, Jason, Justin, Joshua and Jessica, Great Grandchildren, Anzley, Alexis and Nicolle. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Glain (Marie) Hansen, Oceanside, Calif: Jay (Lee) Hansen, Athens, TX; Bruce, (Kelly) Hansen, SLC; Vonda (Ruel)Thornton, Aurora, Col; Sandra (Mack) Stuart, Ogden; and many nieces and nephew who will miss their "Aunt Nae"

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband and her grandson, Scott Frandsen.

The family would like to thank Alex for giving her love, care and companionship.
