Renn Bateman Barker

Renn Bateman Barker, 65, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness.
She was a lifelong resident of the Ogden area. After losing her mother, she was adopted by her maternal grandparents.
She married Russ Wagstaff and they had a daughter, Troy. They later divorced but remained friends until his death.
She later married Evan Barker and they had a daughter, Reannon.
She is survived by her Husband Evan Barker, her daughters Reannon Michelle Barker, Troy Martin- Dempsey (Bob), 12 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren.
She loved her family, friends, and all babies, human and animal. She took many of them in during the course of her life. Two boys that were special to her were Joel Roach and Scott Smith (who later donated a kidney to her giving her a new 11-year lease on life). She and Evan were very involved with their younger grandchildren Joshua Martin and Sage Martin-Dempsey. When she took her family to Disneyland, Her favorite place, she missed her dogs.
Rosary and Memorial will be Monday, February 27th at 7pm at Glory 2 God Catholic Church, 375 Harrison Blvd in Ogden. Memorial services will be Tuesday February 28th at 11 a.m. at the same location. Private interment at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Myers Mortuary of Ogden.
