RHODA FLINDERS

ROY - Rhoda Cannon Flinders, 84, died at her home on Friday, July 18, 2003 from a recent illness.

She was born Dec 2, 1918 in St.George, Utah to Wilford Woodruff and Marie Andersen Cannon. She attended schools in St. George and graduated from Utah State University. She married Arley Flinders on June 11, 1943 in the St. George temple. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1986.

They raised their family in Roy, where she was active in the community and held numerous ward and stake positions in the LDS Church.

She always was concerned most about her family and friends. She cherished time spent with them on vacations in Montana every summer.

She is survived by her children David (Lynn), Stanley (Sally), Joan (Ron) Littlefield, Jennine Williams, and Gregory (Jennifer), 31 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, W. W. "Bill" Cannon, and sister, Elaine Greenemeyer.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Janet (John) Wilkinson.
