Richard Arlen Bryant, Sr

OGDEN - Richard Arlen Bryant, Sr., 70, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2002 at McKay-Dee Hospital due to complications from pneumonia.

He was born August 7, 1931 in Daisetta, TX. He married Ruby Phillips and she preceded him in death. He married Judy A. Hornaday on July 19, 1982 in Ogden.

He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of the Washington Terrace LDS 3rd Ward, and was active as an Ogden temple worker.

He was employed by the U.S. Government for 40 years. He worked for 20 years for the U.S. Air Force and 20 years in the Civil Service.

Surviving are his wife, Judy A. Bryant; one son, Richard A. Bryant, Jr., Hawkinsville, GA; one daughter, Melanie Marie Bryant, Ogden; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Leona Gunter, Plano, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and first wife.
