North Ogden, Utah

Richard Alan Clark passed away at home November 3, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Rick was born in Burbank, California on November 16, 1957 to Loise and Richard Clark.

Rick proudly served in the Navy and followed in his father’s footsteps serving aboard a submarine . He was stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and New London, Connecticut. Rick was honorably discharged from the Navy and started a new career as a long-haul truck driver. He enjoyed the challenges of his job and was proud of his flawless driving record.

Rick had a love of Harley Davidson, old trucks, handguns and power tools. He loved his family and was always thinking about how he could help them. Rick had a wicked sense of humor that was shared with his friends and family.

Rick is preceded in death by Charles and Florence Wing (grandparents), Gerald Thompson (stepfather), Richard Clark (biological father), Doris Standfield (aunt) and Sharon Manning (sister).

Rick will be missed by his mother Loise Thompson, Sisters Tiffany Linford and Charlotte Jensen, his nieces and nephews Whitney Linford, Katie Arnson and Jacob Watkins, and cousin Nancy Land.

We want to thank Rick's best friend, Mark Juresich who traveled from Hawaii to help Rick move, he could not have done it without his help.

Our family would like to express our deepest thanks to Dr. Moodabagil, the staff at McKay Dee Hospital Oncology Department and the Intermountain Hospice nurses for their support during Rick's battle with cancer.
