Richard "Buddio" Dallinga

Ogden - Richard Martinus Dallinga, 85, passed away July 29, 2013. He was born December 19, 1927 to Heino and Arentje Groen Dallinga. Richard was raised and lived on the family farm in Plain City for most of his life. He married Dorothy Koerner on November 4, 1971.

Bud had a passion for raising race horses, golfing and farming. He retired from ConAgra Foods after 30 years of dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Dorothy, in November of 2012; his step-son Rick Koerner; his brothers John and Hyrum and his sisters Marie, Margaret and Helen. He is survived by his three step-daughters Doris Phelps, Debra White and Diane (Steve) Miller; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his three sisters Ruth, Kate and Martina; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for graveside services on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the North East Corner of the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison.
