Richard Grant Mauchley

BRIGHAM CITY - Richard Grant Mauchley died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 of a heart condition he had been struggling with for the past several months.
Richard was born in Emmett, Idaho on May 1, 1950 a son of Grant and Ellen Mauchley and moved to Richmond, Utah as a very young boy. He grew up in Richmond and graduated from Sky View High School in 1968. Richard served in the National Guard. He spent his career working for Jack B. Parson Company and retired in May of 2012. From that point on, he played golf every day that he possibly could. He married Vickie Moffitt Rasmussen on November 1, 1986 and moved from Cache Valley to Brigham City. He had a gift of gab and was able to make friends every where he went. Richard is survived by his wife Vickie, daughters: Erin Mauchley and Jill Mauchley, step-daughter, Angie Fronk and his two grandchildren, Kelton Colby Fronk and Parker Rae Fronk who meant everything to him. He is also survived by his sisters: Janet (Webb) Harpe and Kris Gilbert and his brother and sister-in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-son Colby Rasmussen, his brother-in-law Jim Gilbert and his in-laws Jack Moffitt and Dora Jones.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Mortuary. Please feel free to dress casually as that is what Richard would like. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
