ROBERT LELAND BENNETT

BRIGHAM CITY - Robert Leland Bennett, 72, was reunited with his wife on May 23, 2003.

He was born on August 31, 1930 in Clarinda, Iowa to Robert and Opal Manley Bennett. He married the love of his life, Jean Dalton, in Elko, Nevada on July 2, 1956.

Robert proudly served as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years and was awarded the Silver Star for saving lives.

He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Moody, Ogden, UT; sons Robert L. (Nancy) Bennett, Brigham City, UT; Kevin R. Bennett, Olympia, Washington; Kelly Bennett, Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Gene (Eula) Bennett, Clarinda, Iowa and sister Joan (Jerry) Miers, Omaha, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal, his brother, Donald and loving wife, Jean.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
