Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Robert Walter Davis, passed away on November 28, 2013. He was born on August 17, 1930 to Walter Roland and Delecta Moench Davis in Ogden, Utah. Robert proudly protected our freedoms serving for 28 years as a Fighter Pilot and various command positions in the U.S Air Force. He served 2 tours in Vietnam earning numerous awards for Valor culminating in a Silver Star. Following his military service, Robert returned home and met the love of his life, Beverly Bray. They were married August 9, 1997 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple in 2006.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Utah and the U.S. A.F. Air War College. Robert was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He belonged to the Wolf Creek Ward serving faithfully in several callings.

Robert was on the Board of Directors for 9 years for the Utah Transit Authority and was a member of the Rotary Club. He owned his own Real Estate business in Missouri for 10 years and loved volunteering to serve those in need.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Debra (Glen) Burton, Kevin Bray, Karyn (John) White Steven (Chelise) Bray, Justin (Betty) Davis and Jeff (Amy) Bray; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dean-deceased) Brand; and a brother, Larry (Josette) Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Wolf Creek Ward, 2900 North Hwy 162, Eden, Utah. A visitation will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Sunday, December 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to services at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
