Robert (Bob) Wallace Mitchell

ROBERT (BOB) W. MITCHELL

SYRACUSE -- Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed February 14, 2006 away after a short, yet courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born on November 1, 1928 to Ray Martin Mitchell and Helen Beryl Jevens. He served in the U.S. Navy for nine years. He married Jacquelyn Mills on April 27, 1952 in Daytona Beach, Florida; they were later divorced. He then married Carol Kelley on May 23, 1983. They moved from La Habra, California to Syracuse, Utah in 1996. Everyone who met Bob immediately felt as though they had made a friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Kathleen (Allan) Ische, Ontario, CA; James, Everette, WA; Stephen, Klammoth, CA; stepdaughters, Antoinette (Kenneth) Ambroise, Syracuse, UT; and Michelle Kelley, Layton, UT; his sister, Patricia (Paul) Lorhr, Parma Heights, OH; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Michael David and Michael Phillip.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Syracuse 4th Ward Chapel, 1625 South 1100 West where friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday prior to services. According to family wishes, Bob will be cremated and his ashes will be taken to Everette, Washington for one last fishing trip with his children. We hope you catch the BIG one Bob!
