SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Robert Joe Salerno passed away on March 26, 2005 in the City of San Bernardino, California. Robert was born in Ogden, Utah on May 9, 1927. He will be laid to rest next to his loving wife, Shirley Mae Salerno, at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden, Utah. Robert is survived by his daughters and sons Robert Joe Salerno, Jr., Judy Kohrell, Debbie Reese, Scott Salerno, Michael Salerno, along with 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Robert served his country in the United States Air Force for 25 years and was a civil servant for the next 28 years. He was a loving father and husband. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time bowling with his sweet wife. He was a giving father and friend and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
