Robert Joseph Smith

Robert Joseph Smith, 81 passed away on March 26, 2007. He was born July 30, 1925 in, Duncannon , PA, to Joseph White Smith and S. Catharine Elizabeth Harman. He married Eleanor Mae McSherry on March 18, 1949 in Millersburg, PA. They were blessed with three children.

Robert served in the Navy during World War II and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 39 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Eleanor, of Layton, daughters, Sherry Corsello of Las Vegas, and Barbara Burrell of Shell Knob, MO, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, his brothers, Max Smith of San Antonio, TX and Wilmont Smith of Stroudsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one son.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary of Layton, 250 North Fairfield Road.
