Robert Clark Stoker

Robert, known affectionately as Bob, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. He was a 81 years young. His family and friends were blessed to surround him the last week of his life. They had many meaningful conversations, some teasing and of course, some ball throwing. Bob leaves behind a rich legacy of love, service, and a well-lived life.

Born on December 17th, 1944, in Ogden, Utah, to Don Rex Stoker and Shirley Clark, Bob was raised in Huntsville, Utah, but spent many summers working on his grandparents' farm in Liberty. He learned to work hard and to enjoy the outdoors. He was the eldest of five children: Craig, Carol, Cathy and Curt (deceased).

Bob attended Valley Elementary & Junior High School and moved onto Weber High School, where he was a valued member of the 1963 graduating class. He participated in football, basketball, Boys State and served as a Class Officer.

Bob met the love of his life; Shawnie Olofson, when she moved to Huntsville in the 4th Grade. After dating through school, Bob joined the Army Reserves. Bob and Shawnie later married on Feb 4th, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived and raised their family in Washington Terrace for a short time, but spent the majority of their years in Liberty.

Bob was a charismatic force of nature who could light up a room with his great big smile. He loved to talk and visit and made new friends easily. There wasn't anywhere the family traveled, where Bob wouldn't come across someone he knew. It quickly became an inside family joke.

Bob lived a vibrant, active life, filled with hobbies he loved and shared with those around him. His love of sports and the great outdoors stemmed from his childhood from fishing with family and friends to participating in countless teams throughout his life. Bob played basketball, football, softball, and he bowled in a league with many family members and friends. Bob was very excited to have participated in the Huntsman World Senior Games for 25 years, playing competitive softball. He also loved to flyfish, hunt, and golf. In recent years, he was blessed to have the companionship of his "Golfing Buddies" and looked forward to their frequent rounds of golf and lunch.

Bob's dedication to sports was only rivaled by his love for his family. Bob was known to attend all the kids' sporting events and tried to make it to every dance competition, band concert, play, and every event his grandchildren participated in.

In his professional life, Bob, served as a dedicated repairman for KWIK Vending for over forty years. His work; however, was not just about the job. It was about the people he met and the lives he touched along the way. He was known for his kindness, humility and generosity. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bob served in various capacities including the Bishopric, the High Council, and as the Sunday School President. His love of service extended to the Youth and the Primary Children as well.

Robert Stoker is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shawnie Olofson; his children, Kim (Bruce) Foust, Ken (Sylvia) Stoker, Stacie (Kevin, Matt-deceased) Rasmussen-Case, and Nathan (Jennell) Stoker. He leaves behind his 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren with 1 more on the way.

Robert's contagious smile and zest for life will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We invite you to share your memories of Bob and upload your photos to the memorial page as an enduring tribute to his extraordinary life.
